Howard to make second bid for commissioner
“I understand the diversity and virtues that we have to offer our future generations.”
Businessman Brad Howard announced today that he will make a second bid for Iredell County commissioner this year.
Howard, 31, placed fourth out of six candidates in the May 2006 Republican primary for three seats, behind incumbents Steve Johnson, Marvin Norman and Godfrey Williams.
A lifelong Iredell County resident, Howard is chief operating officer of The Langtree Group LLC, which is developing the Langtree at the Lake community off Interstate 77 Exit 32 in south Iredell. The exit, which is under construction, will lead to Langtree at the Lake in one direction and to the Lowe’s Cos. Inc. headquarters in the opposite direction. Read more
