TV Stolen From Wilkesboro Fire Station

Police are investigating an apparent break-in at the Wilkesboro Fire Department. Someone stole a 42-inch LCD TV from the weight room upstairs at the fire station on Cherry Street, between 3:30 Sunday afternoon and 8:30 yesterday morning. Firefighters tell police they were in and out of the station, and secured it whenever they left, but no one went in the weight room during that time span. The TV is valued at about 14-hundred dollars.
