Sheriff deputies are investigating two break-ins reported yesterday in which the thief got away with quite a bit of assorted change. Both victims have a Miler’s Creek address, and in both cases the thief left behind other valuable items, taking only the change — along with a security videotape one of the owners was running because he’d been the victim of a break-in a bit over a week ago. 300-dollars worth of coins were taken from the mobile home belonging to Richard Miller on Highway 16 North. The thief broke out a small window above his air conditioner to get in, and Miller believe he knows who the thief is. At Robert Parke’s place on Old Lankford Road, there was no sign of a break-in and no one saw anyone during the time Parke was gone to work. There are no suspects identified in that case. The investigation of both continues.
