Foxx: No Congressional Vacation, Vote on Energy Plan

U.S. Representative Virginia Foxx is calling for Speaker Pelosi to cut short the Congressional campaign vacation and address record high gas prices. In a statement issued by her office, Foxx said, “Last week after House Democrats voted to adjourn for a five-week recess, my colleagues and I took to the House floor to ask the Democrat leadership to rescind their decision and allow for a vote on more American energy. Speaker Pelosi may have turned off the lights, camera, and microphones, but we are still here fighting for Americans who are feeling the pain at the pump.” Foxx appeared on yesterday's Focus on the Foothills, and we'll have excerpts of her conversation with 3WC's Angela Henley coming up in future 3WC newscasts.
