Christmas in Wilkes has extended their deadline for turning in gifts for the children on their Angel Trees. Lynn Dyer explains:
The Angel Trees are at Belk, Hardee's, Sister's, Wal-mart, North Park Studio, the Lowes Corporate Offices, Dollar General in Millers Creek and at Wilkes Community College. Nearly 13-hundred kids signed up for Christmas in Wilkes this year. The gifts need to be returned, unwrapped, to Belk, the North Wilkesboro Candy Company, or Wal-Mart.
