Foxx: Bailout has Not Helped the Country

You’ve heard before on 3WC News about the bill introduced late in the previous Congress and in the first days of the new Congress by Fifth-District Representative Virginia Foxx that would keep Congress from okaying the spending of the second half of the financial services industry bailout bill. Congresswoman Foxx explained in her recent Focus on the Foothills interview what the bill would do, and what she expects to see happen:
Foxx says in spite of the money spent to “bail out” the financial industry, businesses that have had no previous credit problems are finding lines of credit canceled and loans called in.
