Writer Ann Pancake is featured speaker for the Center for Appalachian Studies 30th anniversary celebration

BOONE—Fiction writer and essayist Ann Pancake will present “Voices from Under the Mine: A Reading from the novel ‘Strange as This Weather Has Been’” Sept. 14 at 7 p.m. in Appalachian State University’s I.G. Greer Auditorium. Admission is free and the public is invited to attend.
