On Tuesday, Ashe County Schools announced Michelle Lemly as its Teacher of the Year, and Pam Cole as its Inaugural Teacher Assistant of the Year, for 2012-2013. Lemly, a second grade teacher at Westwood Elementary for the past seven years, holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Appalachian State University.
