Every night before she goes to sleep, Leisa Parks goes through the same routine.

She places the two bags of water on the peritoneal dialysis machine connected by a tube to the catheter in her abdomen.

Parks, who was diagnosed with renal failure in November 2011, is on the waiting list for a transplant.
