The bridge on Jane Sowers Road over Interstate 77 in Statesville will be closed until August. The Mooresville Tribune reports that there’s road work and repair work going on that will close the bridge. Right now, Rodney Gantt who is an engineer with the NC Department of Transportation Division 12 said they’re surfacing the deck of the bridge. Gantt said contractors from Asheville are doing the work and that the bridge is expected to reopen around August 13th
